14^TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY PACKING EVENT

 SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19th

 Lake Worth, Florida –It’s so hard to believe that this year represents our 14^th year of preparing and shipping Holiday “We Care” Packages to our troops serving overseas!, says Lynelle Chauncey Zelnar, Executive Director and Founder of Forgotten Soldiers Outreach.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday falling on the 24^th of this month, and the deadline to be able to get the packages shipped and to arrive in time overseas, our packing event is being held early this year!

The Holiday Packing event is held at FSO’s National Operation Center located at 3550 23^rd Avenue South, Suite 7, Lake Worth, FL 33461 on November 19th^t, 2016 10am-2pm.

FSO knows that after this holiday packing, we will be low on all care package items, and hope that the community can start facilitating collection drives in 2017, as FSO officially enters our 14th year of our mission of sending that little bit of home to our troops serving overseas to assure they are not forgotten.

We anticipate sending out approximately 500+ “We Care” packages, including several squad boxes , which all in all should benefit around 2,000+ of our United States Armed Forces serving overseas covering all world theaters and all branches of the military.   This number is subject to change, as more deployments are heading out!  With everything going on in the world today, we have already received word that we will be receiving additional units as registered recipients at the beginning of next year.

Now is the perfect time to provide your year end tax deductible gift to help send a little bit of home to our troops serving overseas, especially during the holiday season!  For only $25 you can sponsor an individual package plus a package for them to provide to a soldier who does not receive anything that day at mail call.   Any size donation will help let our troops know they are not forgotten!

To date, FSO has benefited over 400,000 of our military covering all world theaters and all branches of the military by our mission of sending monthly “We Care” packages to our troops serving overseas and sending that little bit of home to those who receive little or no support from the homefront!
