Amazon Wishlist Donations – Important Acknowledgement Information
Amazon has changed how donor information is shared with nonprofits.
If you would like to receive an acknowledgement of your donation made through our Amazon Wishlist, you must enable the gift option at checkout.
Please follow these steps carefully:
Check the box for “This is a gift”
In the gift message box, include:
Your full name
Mailing address and/or email address
If your donation is part of a collection drive, also include:
The name of the business, organization, school, or community group hosting the drive
Your name and email address
Without this information, we may be unable to identify the donor or issue an acknowledgement.
Thank you for helping us ensure every donation is properly credited and every supporter is recognized.
To ensure safety and dignity, we do not accept or ship:
- Alcohol
- Tobacco products
- Aerosol cans
- Pork products
- Lewd or pornographic materials
- Expired, opened, or used items
- Hotel-sized toiletries
Every donation is reviewed for quality and appropriateness. Our item list evolves based on recipient needs and current deployment conditions
Collection Drives
The Heart of Our Mission
Collection drives are a vital part of our “We Care” Package program. We rely heavily on the generosity of schools, businesses, banks, individuals, camps, and entire communities to host drives that gather the items our heroes need and deserve.
Why It Matters
Each month, we assemble hundreds of “We Care” Packages—and we need a steady stream of donated items to make that possible. We follow a strict “No Air” rule, meaning every box is packed to the brim with essentials—no empty space, no wasted opportunity to support our heroes.
Creative Ways to Contribute
Hosting a party or event? Ask your guests to bring one or two items from our List of Needed Supplies.
Teachers and schools – spark some friendly competition with classroom collection contests!
Businesses – set up a donation station in your lobby or break room.
Every item counts, and every effort helps.
