Looking for a meaningful team-building activity, school trip, or corporate event? A Forgotten Soldiers Outreach (FSO) Packing Event is the perfect way to engage, give back, and make a tangible impact on deployed service members.
Ideal for:
- School field trips – Teach students about service, gratitude, and civic engagement.
- Corporate team-building – Strengthen teamwork while supporting a great cause.
- Community & civic groups – Get involved with hands-on volunteering.
- Special events & fundraisers – Combine philanthropy with a unique experience.
Whether you’re a business, school, or community organization, we’d love to customize an event that works for your group. Bring your team, friends, or family together for a meaningful, hands-on experience that directly supports deployed U.S. service members.
Event Requirements & Details:
- Group Size: Minimum of 5 participants, maximum 12 per shift
- Sponsorship: Minimum of 10 “We Care” packages (at $30 per package)
- Examples:
- $600 = 20 care packages
- $1,500 = 50 care packages
- $3,000 = 100 care packages
- Format: If hosting two shifts, groups may rotate between packing and writing letters
- Safety: All participants must wear closed-toe shoes
- Personal Touch: Each box includes a signed insert from your group with your organization’s name and return address
- Setting: Private packing session with your group at our National Operations Center
