"Supporting America's deployed military service members, to ensure they are not forgotten"

Lynelle Zelnar

On September 11, 2001 our country all stood united as one as our lives were forever changed.  In October 2003, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach was born to help send that little bit of home to our troops that were now deployed in defense of our country.  Service members were provided with much needed care items, as well as letters of encouragement.

For 15 years, it’s been a mission of the heart for not only me, but for all of our staff, volunteers and supporter.  I never imagined that our grassroot organization would still be continuing our mission.  However, we constantly face obstacles in obtaining the necessary funds to be able to send out monthly care packages to our registered recipients.

Since May of this year, we have seen an increase of registered recipients due to the influx of deployments going to places throughout the middle east and other parts of the world.

Our recipients are not limited to just “men and women” in the armed forces, but are comprised of Military Working Dogs and their handlers.

This is a perfect time to honor the memory of those who have served or continue to serve by making a tax deductible donation to Forgotten Soldiers Outreach.  Our goal for this month is to ship out “911” care packages by raising $22,775 !

Please help us show support to those who serve us and keep us safe at home!
