Our First Summer Intern

Lynelle Zelnar

Did you know that we just started our first Summer Internship Program?

Here is information on our very first intern:

Forgotten Soldiers Outreach is very excited to introduce our first summer intern program in the community.  This summer we have been honored to have one of our very own volunteers do an internship program for one of his classes.  Josh Recore has dedicated 3 years to Forgotten Soldiers Outreach volunteering in our warehouse and at special events.

Josh chose Forgotten Soldiers Outreach as his charity to perform his internship.  Josh resides in Boynton Beach and attends Olympic Heights Community High School in Boca Raton.

Josh exhibits a great ability to learn whatever he can about our non-profit.  His tasks at our National Operations Center have been helping in the warehouse while working with the other volunteers, preparing postage labels for our “We Care” packages, updating spreadsheets, data processing and preparing flyers.  He has learned how to run our sponsored packing events and volunteer days.  Josh has also volunteered at outside events while speaking about Forgotten Soldiers Outreach to others.

His enthusiasm is contagious and truly exemplifies his character of someone who will certainly achieve a lot of success in his life.

We congratulate Josh Recore for his dedication, passion and commitment in choosing Forgotten Soldiers Outreach for his internship.    He has set the bar extremely high for others to follow in his footsteps.

Josh is looking forward to graduating high school and going to college to study math.
