LOCAL BOY PRESENTS FUNDS RAISED FROM LEMONADE STAND TO FORGOTTEN SOLDIERS OUTREACH TO HELP SEND ‘WE CARE’ PACKAGES TO TROOPS OVERSEAS

Lake Worth, FL – On July 7th, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach was honored by two youngsters, who presented Forgotten Soldiers Outreach with letters of encouragement for our soldiers, as well as $25 raised from their lemonade stand on 4th of July.

Originally Hayden Katz, who attends Banyan Creek Elementary School in Delray Beach, was going to donate a 1/4 of his proceeds to FSO but he decided to present FSO with more. He and his younger sister, Shayna, donated $25 from the lemonade stand.

How did Hayden hear about Forgotten Soldiers Outreach you ask?   Executive Director and Founder of Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, Lynelle Chauncey Zelnar spoke to the Samaritans 365 Club at Banyan Creek Elementary School in Delray Beach this past January. Hayden was hooked.   While presenting FSO his donation, Hayden explained what he learned from Lynelle. We are so very proud that Hayden listened carefully and was able to turn around and make this donation.

“These children speak volumes of what it means to show support to those who serve our country and provide us with the Freedom we have living in the United States of America.  Hayden has set an amazing precedents to students throughout the community, and I hope others can also pay it forward for the Freedom that we have here.”  Comment Zelnar.

Our youth is our future, and this totally warms my heart and brings tears to my eyes to see how this young man was moved to do such a wonderful act of kindness Samaritans 365 Club motto is “Kindness Matters”.  This program is now in many of our local schools and often partner with Forgotten Soldiers Outreach.
