Volunteers Make Us Work!

We are grateful for the volunteers who continue to help us.  However, we are always in need of people to help with collecting donated items, filling the packages and delivering them for shipping.

We are located in Palm Beach County, Florida. If you’re in our area and would like to become a volunteer, please contact us by either completing the form on the ‘Contact Us‘ page or emailing us directly here.

When:

Third Saturday of each month (Pending Holidays, see event schedule for  actual packing event dates)

Event Details:

Third Saturday of each month from 10am-2pm.  In the event the scheduled packing date falls on a holiday, it will be re-scheduled for an alternate Saturday (see packing event schedule).

NEW REQUIREMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN PACKING EVENT -PLEASE BRING EITHER ITEMS TO DONATE, LETTERS OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND/OR FEEL FREE TO MAKE A MONETARY DONATION (TAX DEDUCTIBLE) TO HELP WITH THE SHIPPING COSTS OF THE “WE CARE” PACKAGES”

Private Packing Events

REMEMBER, ALTHOUGH MONTHLY SCHEDULED PACKING EVENTS BOOK QUICKLY, PRIVATE SPONSORED PACKING EVENTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED!

Please R.S.V.P. To avoid having too many people at once, which tends to cause us to lose productivity.  You may book in advance. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Packing Event Manager at packingevents@forgottensoldiers.org or call the National Headquarters at 561-369-2933

Volunteer Groups of 10 or more need to schedule for a special “sponsored” packing or can make an appointment to help at the Operation Center on an alternative date…we have a lot of administrative tasks that need volunteers …We will be open every Saturday, which will be our “Soldiers Needs Work Day” along with our Hours of Operation, see contact us.

If you are interested in helping out in the interim with inventory, please contact Jeanelle Knecht, Assistant to Executive Director at jeanelle@forgottensoldiers.org or at 561-369-2933. We are always in need of help at the warehouse for inventorying the items.

This is a great way to earn Community Service Hours!

Directions:

Directions from the south: I95 North. Exit 10th Avenue North and go west
(make a left). Go west to your 4th light (Boutwell Road) and make a left.
Go to the 1st street on the right (7th Avenue North) and make a right. Go
to your 1st street on the left (23rd Avenue South) and make a left. Go to
the first driveway on the left. The building number is 3550 and is on the
outside of the building. Go around the front of the building to Suite 7
with the American Flag by the door.
