GLORY AWARDS RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEERISM AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT 07-31-2008 GLORY AWARDS RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEERISM AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT Delray Beach, Florida – The Community Neighborhood Helping, Inc. cordially invites the public to honor two exceptional citizens at the 7th Annual Glory Awards on Friday, August 29, 2008. This special event will commence with a 6:30 p.m. reception in the Crest Theater at Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach. An awards ceremony immediately follows. The Glory Awards is an annual event that recognizes individuals, businesses and organizations for outstanding volunteerism and community involvement. This year’s theme, Working to Effect Changes We all Can Believe In, embodies the true spirit of commitment to enhance the lives of others. The 2008 Glory Awards proudly acknowledges Dr. Simon C. Barnes for his lifelong dedication toward the betterment of the community and Lynelle Chauncey Zelnar for her support of our deployed soldiers as Executive Director and Founder of Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, Inc. Tickets for the Glory Awards are $22 for adults and $10 for children. Adult tickets are automatically entered into a raffle drawing for a 32 inch color TV. Tickets also include a beautiful reception with food and live entertainment. Proceeds from the ticket sales help feed those in the low-economic areas of Delray Beach.
